Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel assignment as a CVICU Registered Nurse in Fayetteville, NC. This role involves working the night shift with 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, providing critical care in a busy ICU setting within a Level III Trauma Center. You’ll be responsible for managing complex patients, floating within your scope between similar units as needed, and adhering to safe staffing ratios of 1:2-3. Candidates should bring at least 2 years of CVICU experience, hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, and be prepared for weekend rotations. Local travelers within a 50-mile radius are not permitted, and pending licenses are not accepted. The hospital’s system enforces a return staff policy, requiring a one-year absence to re-enter as a traveler and limiting contract extensions to once.
