Job Description:

Join the ICU team as a CVICU Registered Nurse on a 18-week contract at a top-tier Level I Trauma and Teaching hospital in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing specialized care to cardiac surgery patients and those with complex cardiovascular diagnoses. Your responsibilities will include managing patients with post-operative open hearts, assisting with surgical procedures, and handling advanced equipment such as ECMO, Impella, and IABP. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to apply your CVICU expertise in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting, with the chance to float within scope to other ICU floors, PACU, and ED as needed. Please note, participation in holiday work (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) is required, and accommodations may be available for block scheduling.
