Job Description:

Join Mercy Hospital Springfield as a Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract working in the Main OR. You'll be a key player in preparing operating rooms for a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring sterile fields are maintained, instruments and supplies are organized, and assisting surgeons during complex cases. This role offers a chance to work on DaVinci robotic equipment and support a diverse patient care environment ranging from outpatient procedures to critical inpatient surgeries. You'll work 3 days a week on 12-hour day shifts (6:30 am - 7:00 pm), with weekend shifts scheduled as needed. Ideal candidates have at least one year of hospital surgical tech experience, BLS certification, and preferably CORST licensure. As part of this team, you'll experience a fast-paced, high-stakes setting where attention to detail and technical proficiency are essential. Be prepared to adapt to different schedules and work alongside a motivated, self-starter team committed to high-quality surgical support.
