Job Description:

Join a prestigious Cardiac Stepdown unit in Shreveport, Louisiana, for a 13-week travel nursing opportunity. As a Registered Nurse on this fast-paced unit, you'll be responsible for managing patients post-cardiac procedures such as CABG, PCI, AICD placements, and TAVR, as well as those with respiratory failure, CVA, sepsis, and other complex conditions. During this assignment, you’ll enjoy a rotating schedule of 12-hour day shifts, with an emphasis on titrating cardiac and vasopressor drips, managing central lines, chest tubes, and other advanced interventions. The role includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, supporting patient recovery, and ensuring compliance with certifications like BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. This environment welcomes first-time travelers who possess at least two years of acute care RN experience, providing a great starting point for your travel career in a supportive, traveler-friendly setting.
