Job Description:

This PACU RN contract offers a chance to work in a high-paced recovery environment within a 34-bed unit. You will be responsible for managing post-anesthesia patients, primarily in Phase 1 recoveries, with potential opportunities to train in Phase 2. Your tasks will include monitoring patients’ vital signs, reading ECG strips, and collaborating with a team that includes CNA support. The shift involves 8-hour days, with schedules that may include some weeknight and weekend call responsibilities. An emphasis on efficient patient turnover and understanding complex rhythms makes this assignment both challenging and rewarding for experienced PACU nurses eager to hone their skills in a state-of-the-art facility.
