Job Description:

This step-down registered nurse role places you at the forefront of patient recovery, working in an immediate care unit that navigates a spectrum of acuity levels. You'll be responsible for managing telemetry and IV starts, with shifts running 12 hours overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., primarily on weekdays with some weekend coverage. The position offers a 13-week contract with potential for extension, allowing you to settle into a rhythm while making a tangible difference. Expect to be part of a team that values collaborative care, with staffing ratios typically around 1:4, adjusting in emergencies, and dealing with a diverse mix of progressive care and telemetry patients. This assignment is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable reading strips and working independently in a fast-paced environment that keeps you engaged.
