Job Description:

This registered nurse position in the Cardiac Observation Unit offers a front-row seat to the high-stakes world of cardiac care, focusing on pre- and post-procedure patient management in the Cath Lab. You'll evaluate patients, assist physicians during procedures like transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversions, and ensure smooth recoveries following conscious sedation. The role involves a mix of bedside work and collaboration with a dedicated team, all within a fast-paced setting that values precision and patient outcomes. Unique to this assignment are the high-acuity patients, the expectation to perform bedside procedures, and the rotating call schedule that includes weekend shifts—making every day different and engaging.
