Job Description:

Join the Mother Baby unit at OPRMC in Overland Park for a 13-week contract that offers a balanced mix of challenge and fulfillment. This role involves providing direct support to women during post-partum recovery, attending births, and caring for well newborns. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts, giving you quiet hours to focus on patient assessments, discharge education, and subtle nuances of postpartum care. The unit operates with a small team, relying on experienced nurses like you to adapt quickly, especially during short staffing scenarios. If you’re comfortable navigating electronic documentation systems such as Meditech and CPN, and thrive in a setting that values safety and patient experience, this opportunity could be a great fit.
