Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery assignment at Overland Park Regional Medical Center offers a chance to work on a 13-bed unit with an added triage area, providing a hands-on experience with both antepartum and postpartum care. The shift consists of 12-hour days, giving you a full day to immerse yourself in the vital obstetric activities. You'll be performing procedures such as vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and monitoring fetal health with state-of-the-art equipment. A background in labor and delivery is essential, with additional skills like C-section circulation and newborn catching giving you a leg up. You'll work alongside a compassionate team committed to providing exceptional care, following AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios, and using electronic medical records like CPN/GE.
