Job Description:

Join a renowned Level III Trauma Center in Milwaukee for a 13-week assignment focusing on neurocritical care in the ICU. This role demands an experienced critical care nurse with at least four years of expertise, ready to manage complex neurological conditions such as ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, spinal surgeries, and brain mass resections. Expect a mix of neuro and general medical ICU cases, with patient ratios typically ranging from 1:1 to 1:3. The work involves vent management, trach care, arterial line monitoring, vasopressor and sedation management, and central line blood draws, all within a supportive environment featuring state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative team. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to apply and expand your critical care skills in a setting that values evidence-based practice and teamwork.
