Job Description:

Join us in a rewarding travel healthcare role within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a respected facility in Frankfort, Kentucky. This 13-week assignment on the second floor NICU offers an engaging opportunity for experienced NICU nurses to apply their skills in a supportive environment. Expect to care for newborns with a variety of acuity levels, utilizing advanced equipment like Alaris pumps and phototherapy lights. The shift consists of 12-hour night hours, with staffing always maintaining a minimum of two NICU nurses, ensuring a balanced workload. This role is perfect for skilled professionals with over two years of NICU experience, particularly those comfortable with procedures such as intubation, line placements, and medication administration. A current Kentucky license and active BLS and NRP certifications are required to get started. What makes this assignment unique? You'll be part of a small but dynamic team, working on a unit that typically maintains patient ratios of 3:1 or less, fostering focused and effective care.
