Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel RN contract in Denton, Texas, working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM at Medical City Denton. This role involves caring for cardiac and stroke patients on a competitive PCU unit that manages complex cases such as cardiac drips, BIPAP therapy, and post-procedure recovery. You'll work alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced, well-equipped environment with a patient ratio of 4:1, flexing up to 5:1 when necessary. The unit values compassionate, team-oriented professionals who communicate effectively and possess strong integrity, with opportunities to showcase preceptor or charge nurse experience. Expect to perform procedures like emergent thoracentesis and tele monitoring, all while utilizing advanced equipment such as bedside monitoring, Tele, and Airvo. This assignment offers the chance to expand your skills in a collaborative setting that emphasizes quality patient care without the typical hospital hierarchy.
