Job Description:

Join a dedicated surgical ICU team in the vibrant city of New Orleans for a 13-week travel nursing contract specializing in high-acuity patient care. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care for post-operative cardiac, transplant, and general surgical recovery patients. This role demands adaptability, as you may be called upon to join emergency teams for unexpected events, staying until the situation is resolved. The focus is on complex patient cases, including post-op CABG, valve repairs, and transplant recoveries, with an emphasis on teamwork and expertise. A chance to experience a specialized unit with opportunities to utilize your skills with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and RRT makes this assignment both challenging and rewarding.
