Job Description:

Join a travel opportunity in Peoria, Illinois, as a Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment. You’ll be working 12-hour night shifts in a 20-bed unit that accommodates a variety of medical conditions, including COPD, CHF, sepsis, and neuro/surgical cases. This role offers hands-on ICU/Intermediate experience with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 to 1 or 2 to 1, requiring skills in vent management, trach care, and titrating drips such as Cardene, Cardizem, and vasopressors. The unit is well-equipped with bedside monitors and PCT support, and you'll collaborate closely with a charge nurse and house supervisor for seamless patient care. If you enjoy challenging cases and are comfortable on your feet with a variety of responsibilities, this assignment might just be your perfect fit.
