Job Description:

Join a busy histology lab where you'll play a crucial role in preparing tissue specimens with precision and speed. This 18-week travel contract in Minneapolis involves working 8-hour night shifts from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM, focusing on embedding and microtomy of various tissue types. You'll be handling automated and manual microtomes, embedding a wide range of specimens, and performing histology staining with Hematoxylin and Eosin. The role offers a chance to hone your skills in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to float within scope at sister facilities if desired. The setting is a short-term acute care hospital, known for its magnet designation and teaching environment, providing an excellent backdrop for professional growth while contributing to impactful diagnostics.
