Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week contract in Norfolk, VA, as a neonatal intensive care nurse in a Level IV NICU. This role offers a chance to work in an advanced unit with 70 beds, specializing in critical newborn care, including prematurity, neurological disorders, cardiac and respiratory issues, and more. You'll be engaging in bedside procedures such as PDA ligation and chest tube placements, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:3, providing specialized care to some of the most fragile infants. This assignment presents an opportunity to work with a dedicated team utilizing Cerner charting, with orientation lasting only 2-3 shifts—perfect for experienced NICU RNs eager to make an impact in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
