Job Description:

Join us for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana, where you'll care for patients with cardiac and medical conditions such as MI, CHF, arrhythmias, and PVD. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, providing routine and complex care in a specialty cardiac unit that manages many cardiac drips—without nitrate interventions. This assignment offers the chance to develop your skills in a focused environment, with the independence to make care decisions and coordinate with your team. Additional details include required certifications such as BLS and ACLS, an RN license in Louisiana or a compact license, and the ability to float as needed. The nurse will work with a patient ratio typically 5:1, occasionally 6:1, providing specialized care to cardiac patients who are often on drips. Opportunities for overtime after 48 hours are available, and the role includes every other weekend work. Dress code is Cherokee Blue scrubs.
