Job Description:

Join a dedicated respiratory care team at a prominent children's hospital in Charlottesville, VA, for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll provide respiratory therapy in the NICU, focusing on neuro diagnostics and respiratory support for the most vulnerable patients. The role involves working 4 days per week, 12-hour daytime shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with every other weekend and holiday scheduled in advance. This is an excellent opportunity to gain specialized NICU experience, particularly with Level 4 NICU patients, cardiac PICU, and to work in a unit that offers flexible self-scheduling options. Prior NICU Level 4 experience, Cardiac PICU familiarity, and certifications including RRT, BLS, and NRP are required. The unit prefers candidates with ACCS certification and current Virginia licensure, though a pending VA license is acceptable with temporary licensure arrangements.
