Job Description:

Join a busy acute hospital in Anchorage as a PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced setting, with shifts rotating over 12 hours to keep you on your toes. The assignment offers a chance to experience Alaska’s stunning scenery while working in a respected Level II Trauma center recognized as a US News & World Report Best Hospital. This position requires an active Alaska RN license (or the ability to obtain one quickly) and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Expect to handle on-call duties, including a limited number of weekend and Sunday call shifts, with nurses required to be on-site within 30 minutes of a call. The role includes guaranteed 60 hours every two weeks, giving you a balance of challenging work and adequate time to explore the local surroundings.
