Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a busy Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit in Wausau, WI, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You'll be responsible for managing a diverse patient load, including ventilated patients with trach tubes, sepsis cases, trauma, stroke, and post-surgical recoveries. The role involves float coverage across inpatient units, often to higher acuity areas, and requires quick adaptation, resilience, and efficiency. Expect to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals in a 36-bed unit with heavy telemonitoring, supporting patients with complex needs, and utilizing charting systems like EPIC. This assignment offers guaranteed 36 hours weekly, with some flexibility for low census hours, and requires prior travel experience, two or more years of relevant clinical expertise, and certifications including WI RN license, BLS, and ACLS.
