Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Jacksonville, North Carolina, for an engaging 13-week contract. This role involves working five 8-hour days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with responsibilities centered on preoperative assessments, intraoperative patient monitoring, and post-surgical discharge planning. The position includes a mix of scheduled daytime shifts and on-call responsibilities during nights, weekends, and holidays—typically one night per week and 2-3 weekend shifts every six weeks. Previous main hospital experience, BLS, and ACLS certification are required. This assignment offers a chance to work closely with surgical teams in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing immediate patient assessment and individualized care planning, all within a supportive team setting.
