Job Description:

Join a renowned neuro surgical unit as a travel RN, where you'll primarily focus on caring for neuro and neuro-surgical patients such as CVAs, post-op cranial surgeries, and cerebral angiograms. This 13-week assignment is centered around day shifts, with 12-hour days from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. You'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment, with responsibilities including NIHSS assessments, dysphagia screening, blood and blood product administration, and maintaining strict Is & Os. The role offers guaranteed hours of 36 per week, with optional acceptance of 48s for additional flexibility. Float requirements include initial floating within your skillset within the same campus or nearby facilities, and cross-campus float possible with a 2-hour notice. This assignment provides an excellent platform to showcase your neuro assessment skills and critical thinking in a teaching hospital setting while engaging in a variety of complex cases.
