Job Description:

Join a dedicated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as a PICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Charlottesville. This role involves providing specialized care in the PICU setting, primarily during 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You will be responsible for managing critically ill pediatric patients, with opportunities to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs. The position requires working two out of three winter holidays and three weekends every six weeks. If you enjoy a challenging yet rewarding environment and are comfortable working independently during overnight hours, this assignment offers a meaningful chance to make an impact while exploring the city’s vibrant community. BLS, PALS, and pediatric cardiac experience are preferred. You can submit your VA license pending, and approval for 40 hours off during the contract is available, but time off cannot be granted during the first two weeks. The weekly gross pay averages approximately $2,031.95.
