Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract in the emergency department offers an engaging opportunity for experienced registered nurses specializing in emergency care. You'll be providing critical care in a high-volume ER, treating approximately 66 patients daily, many with complex conditions like stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and behavioral health issues. The role involves float assignments across several facilities within the region, including Virginia Mason Medical Center and other nearby hospitals, with extra compensation for floating. Work 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on rapid triage, managing behavioral health cases, and utilizing skills in phlebotomy, blood gas analysis, and critical drips. The unit operates with a 1:4 nurse-patient ratio, staffed around a comprehensive trauma and stroke center. This assignment is ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic settings and enjoy teamwork with supportive leadership. A valid driver's license is required for this role.
