Job Description:

Join Wilson Medical Center in North Carolina as an Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts in a bustling ED with a patient census of approximately 26 beds. You will be responsible for managing a variety of acute cases, including respiratory distress, overdoses, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension, all while using Meditech electronic health records. The facility values team players with at least two years of recent ED experience who are ready to step into a fast-paced environment. Experience with GE monitors, trauma care, and certifications like ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required. This assignment offers a unique chance to work with a dedicated team in a well-equipped hospital that manages a diverse patient population, from adults to geriatric individuals, without the requirement for float duties outside the ED. The shift provides a consistent weekly guarantee of 36 hours, with every other weekend on and no call responsibilities.
