Job Description:

Join an exciting neuro-focused RN contract at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center in Marion, IL. This 13-week assignment places you on a 12-hour dayshift covering a 22-bed neuro unit, where you will care for neuro and neuro-surgical patients, including those with CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, and cerebral angiograms. Your tasks will involve neuro assessments, NIHSS screenings, medication administration, and managing neuro overflow patients. This role offers a chance to sharpen your critical thinking and assessment skills in a fast-paced environment while working alongside a dedicated team. The hospital requires float capabilities, and the shift includes every other weekend and holiday coverage, providing a balanced work schedule. This assignment is perfect for a resilient RN with two years of Med Surg/Tele experience, recent Epic charting familiarity, and neuro skills.
