Job Description:

This float Registered Nurse role at a high-volume short-term acute care hospital involves working in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and stepping into various patient care areas as needed. You will perform a variety of clinical duties, including monitoring patients with diverse conditions such as post-procedure, telemetry, and medical-surgical cases. The position requires flexibility to float between units, and some charge responsibilities are included on small units where you'll oversee staffing, bed flow, and coordination. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with the opportunity to impact different patient populations and work alongside a collaborative team. This role offers a unique chance to apply your charge nurse experience in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate, comprehensive patient support.
