Job Description:

This RN contract position at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC offers the chance to work in the telemetry unit with a focus on general cardiac care. You'll be on 12-hour day shifts, caring for a diverse patient population that includes young adults to seniors with conditions like chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and post-cardiac cath recovery. The role involves occasionally floating to other units such as IMCU, NPCU, or Surgical, and requires comfortable working with equipment like Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo. The assignment is ideal for experienced RNs with at least 2 years in cardiac or telemetry, holding current licensure, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. The workweek guarantees 36 hours, with every other weekend off, and the weekly gross pay is approximately $1,625.44.
