Job Description:

Join a healthcare team as a Med/Surg RN on a rewarding 13-week day shift contract in Globe, Arizona. This role involves providing skilled nursing support in a telemetry and step-down setting, with scheduled shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and optional call during periods of low census. Travelers will work in a well-equipped environment utilizing Meditech EMR, Alaris pumps, Omnicell medication systems, and more. The focus is on delivering excellent patient care while managing medication administration and monitoring patients’ vital signs. The ideal candidate will have Med-Surg or telemetry experience, with some familiarity with step-down units preferred. You will be expected to work approximately 36 hours per week, with productivity expectations aligned to the setting’s patient ratios of 1:6 for Med-Surg/Observations and 1:4 for Step Down units. This assignment offers a chance to enhance your skills in a dynamic hospital setting, with call options and a supportive team atmosphere.
