Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in the Progressive Care Unit of a reputable hospital, focusing on highly specialized cardiac and telemetry care. You will be responsible for managing complex medical, cardiac, and post-surgical patients requiring intermediate care, including those recovering from cardiac surgery, strokes, and other critical conditions. The role involves performing detailed assessments such as head-to-toe evaluations every six hours, administering titrated medications like dopamine, nitro, and Insulin, and managing advanced procedures including IV insertions, chest tube and CVC management, and early patient mobilization. The shift is 12 hours overnight, giving you a chance to experience the city’s vibrant nightlife and quiet mornings. It’s an engaging role for those who enjoy hands-on advanced skills and working with a supportive team dedicated to delivering personalized patient care.
