Job Description:

This neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) travel assignment offers the opportunity to provide specialized care in a Level IV NICU setting, verified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. You will be responsible for delivering advanced nursing care to fragile neonates, including assessments, procedures like intubation, PICC line placements, and administering medications through PICC lines. The role includes working closely with the NICU team on 12-hour rotating shifts, with every other weekend work, and potential floating to PICU and PEDS units. Expect exposure to sophisticated equipment such as high-frequency ventilators, nitric oxide, MedFusion and Smart pumps, and Epic charting systems. This position is perfect for experienced neonatal nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, procedure-oriented environment while enjoying the camaraderie of a specialized team and the chance to make a significant impact on vulnerable infants.
