Job Description:

This OR RN position in Charleston, WV, offers a 13-week contract working 8-hour night shifts. The role involves independently performing ophthalmology procedures such as cataracts and corneal transplants, ensuring smooth ambulatory surgeries while scrubbed in and circulating. The assignment provides a unique opportunity to work in a specialized surgical environment, supporting a variety of eye surgeries with a team of experienced professionals. The workflow requires multi-tasking with an average of 22 cases per day and participating in call responsibilities on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with a 30-minute response time. The position includes hospital and staff orientation, and the unit's requirements emphasize hands-on ophthalmology experience and scrub skills.
