Job Description:

Join a busy MedSurg unit in Bismarck, ND, for an engaging 13-week travel assignment. You’ll be working 12-hour day shifts, providing nursing care for patients recovering from surgeries such as total joint replacements, spinal surgeries, urology procedures, and abdominal surgeries. This role offers the chance to handle a variety of diagnoses, including bariatric cases, medical overflow, and patients with hemovacs and Jp drains. While no titration of drips is required, occasional management of heparin drips, PCA pumps, and TPNs may be part of your duties. You’ll work alongside dedicated charge nurses, patient care techs, and telemetry techs, and will have the opportunity to troubleshoot RT equipment like vents and BiPaps. The unit fosters a close-knit culture with bedside shift reports, and flexible scheduling options are available.
