Job Description:

Join a busy medical-surgical/telemetry unit as a registered nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Charlottesville, VA. During this period, you'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing care for patients with conditions such as respiratory illnesses, renal issues, diabetes, sepsis, infections, heart failure, sickle cell disease, and cystic fibrosis. The role involves a patient ratio of 1:4 on days and weekends, and 1:5 during nights. You'll have the opportunity to work either 36 or 48 hours per week, with every other weekend off. This assignment includes block scheduling during the winter holidays, though specific dates cannot be guaranteed. Time off requests up to 40 hours can be submitted. Adherence to UVA’s float policy is required, as is BLS certification and Epic EMR experience.
