Job Description:

Join a dedicated orthopedic surgical unit in Charlotte for a 16-week contract as a registered nurse on night shift. This role offers an engaging environment focused on procedures like total joint replacements, spinal fusions, and trauma care. You’ll be responsible for interpreting dysrhythmias, managing IV therapy, and using respiratory skills with nasal cannulas and non-invasive airway devices. The unit features frequent wound vacs and drains, and utilizes systems like Epic and Pyxis. The shift runs from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, with every other weekend requirement, making it ideal for nurses seeking a stable yet dynamic assignment.
