Job Description:

Join our team as a Cardiovascular Operating Room technologist in Hartford, where you'll work on complex open heart and vascular procedures that keep the heart beating strong. This role offers a mix of 12-hour day shifts, including on-call responsibilities during weeknights and weekends, providing an opportunity to sharpen your skills in a setting that emphasizes advanced cardiovascular surgery. You'll be instrumental in procedures such as coronary artery bypass, valve replacements, heart transplants, and vascular repairs, working closely with surgeons on intricate operations like aortic aneurysm repairs and endovascular cases. Your expertise in assisting with CPB cannulation, cardioplegia, pacer/defib, IABP, LVAD, and Impella insertions will be key to patient success. This assignment combines the thrill of high-stakes surgery with the camaraderie of a dedicated team—definitely not your typical role, but one that offers professional growth and meaningful contributions.

Job Specifics:

Location: Hartford, Connecticut

Shift: 12-hour days, including on-call coverage during weeknights from 7pm to 7am and weekends from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am

Duration: 13 weeks, with a weekly commitment of approximately 36 hours
