Job Description:

Join our team as a MedSurg nurse on a 13-week contract in Dixon, Illinois. This role offers a unique opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts on a unit with 23 beds on the 4th floor and 14 on the 3rd. You'll be providing essential care for patients with diagnoses like NSTEMI, COPD, PNA, Sepsis, and AKI, with an ideal ratio of 1:5 that can extend up to 1:7. The assignment includes a one-shift orientation, providing you with all the details and support you need to succeed. No titrating drips required, but you'll collaborate closely with charge nurses and house supervisors. The unit operates with tele monitoring and reads MT strips, with RNs signing off on assessments throughout the shift.
