Job Description:

Join our team as a Pediatric RN on a 13-week contract in Mission Viejo, California. This role offers a chance to work in a specialized pediatric unit focusing on children from newborns to seventeen years old, including epilepsy, neurological, respiratory, surgical, and infectious conditions. You’ll be part of a 24-bed unit, floating to NICU, PICU, and eating disorder units, providing critical support to diverse patient needs. The shifts are 12-hour days, and you'll be the only RN on your shift at night, making your experience essential. This is a chance to hone your pediatric skills in a setting that values teamwork and adaptability, with a friendly, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Job Specifics:

Location: Mission Viejo, California. Shift: 12-hour days from 07:00 to 19:00. Duration: 13 weeks, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. This role offers a competitive weekly gross pay of approximately $1,977.71. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of pediatric RN experience, current BLS and PALS certifications, and proficient knowledge of the EPIC charting system. Floating to NICU, PICU, and eating disorder units requires flexibility and a willingness to adapt quickly in a lively and demanding environment. Weekend shifts are scheduled every other week, and RTO requests are limited to five days maximum, with no holiday RTO accepted.
