Job Description:

Join a specialized Pediatric Behavioral Health unit as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. This role involves providing expert care to children and teens aged 4-17 facing behavioral health challenges such as depression, autism spectrum disorder, and psychosis. The work requires managing disruptive behaviors using least restrictive methods, including de-escalation, physical holds, and restraint when safety is at risk. You'll work night shifts, 12 hours each, in a facility that supports a primary nurse model with an assignment of typically 1:6 children. This is a chance to make a meaningful difference in young lives while working in a certified teaching, magnet, and Level I trauma pediatric hospital—a true haven for youth mental health care, with a touch of playfulness in the teamwork that keeps it running smoothly.
