Job Description:

Join the dedicated team at York Hospital as an ER RN on a 13-week night shift contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center that handles a diverse array of emergency cases, including trauma, stroke, and chest pain. You will be floating to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU), providing inpatient-level care to patients awaiting further treatment or discharge, and supporting the emergency team during busy periods. This assignment is perfect for experienced nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy a bit of variety in their work.

Job Specifics:

Location: York, PA
Shift: Night, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week
Additional details include floating to the ETCU as needed, working weekends (every 3rd weekend), and optional coverage for major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. It’s a focused, fast-paced environment suited for experienced nurses with a minimum of two years recent ER experience. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required, and first-time travelers are not accepted for this role.
