Job Description:

Join a respected community hospital in Yakima, Washington, as an ICU RN on a 13-week contract. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care to patients recovering from neuro/spine surgeries, or those requiring pressors and advanced respiratory support like BiPAP and intubation. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in complex cases involving chest tubes, wound vacs, femoral arterial sheaths, and monitoring devices such as Impella or IABP, all within a supportive hospital environment. The hospital operates with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1 or sometimes 1:1 during high-acuity situations, giving you a chance to make a significant impact while honing your ICU skills. EMR system is primarily EPIC, and floating across ICU and lower levels is expected depending on staffing needs. No on-call duties, with every other weekend rotation—giving you quality downtime to explore the scenic surroundings.
