Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel contract in Rockford, Illinois, working in the intermediate care unit (IMCU). This role requires navigating 12-hour night shifts where you'll care for patients with conditions such as stroke, cardiac issues, sepsis, and post-surgical needs. Your expertise in managing trach care, Bipap, stroke protocols, and IV titration will be essential. Expect to work alongside charge nurses who may take patient assignments when necessary, with support from CNA staff and equipment like ventilators and monitor techs. This assignment offers a chance to refine your skills in a high-acuity setting while enjoying the comfort of a guaranteed orientation of 12 hours. The work environment emphasizes teamwork and professional growth, with a focus on patient stabilization and overall care. If you are a dedicated nurse with current Illinois licensure, certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and experience with titrating drips like Heparin or Noradrenaline, this could be your next rewarding adventure.
