Job Description

Join a 13-week travel contract as a PCU Registered Nurse supporting heart failure and post-transplant patients on a lower-acuity cardiac unit. This night-shift assignment includes three 12-hour shifts each week, with some weekends and rotating holidays. Night owls will appreciate the consistent 7:00 PM–7:30 AM schedule and no call requirement.

The ideal traveler has at least one year of PCU experience, with cardiac experience preferred. Responsibilities include caring for heart failure patients, starting IVs, monitoring telemetry, documenting in Epic, and floating to units with an equivalent or lower level of acuity. BLS and ACLS are required, and previous travel experience is preferred.

Weather

Expect crisp, cool conditions with changing foliage, comfortable afternoons, cooler evenings, and occasional rain. Layers and a light waterproof jacket are useful for exploring the area.
