Job Description

Join an ICU team as a travel Registered Nurse supporting critically ill adults in a 36-bed intensive care setting. This 13-week contract features 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., with an expected ratio of 1:1 or 1:2. You will care for patients with complex conditions such as cardiac events, sepsis, stroke, CABG recovery, vascular support needs, and other medical-surgical ICU diagnoses. Experience with ventilators and drips including vasopressors, nitroglycerin, and heparin is important.

The unit uses Cerner PowerChart and provides in-house intensivist, hospitalist, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy support around the clock. Travelers participate in every-other-weekend rotations and holiday coverage, with occasional floating to Tele and the ER. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS; CCRN is preferred. General medical-surgical ICU experience is required, with at least three years preferred. Navy blue scrubs are required.
