Job Description:

This assignment offers the opportunity to work on a 16-bed cardiac telemetry unit in a busy teaching hospital. You'll handle a variety of cardiac-related cases, including post-cardiac surgery, heart failure, chest pain, and management of invasive procedures like cardiac caths. Expect to perform skills such as PIV starts, NG tube management, chest tube care, and surgical drain management. The unit's fast pace means you’ll be discharging patients regularly and coordinating with a supportive team, including CNAs and a resource team. With a focus on telemetry monitoring, you'll have the chance to hone your skills in a dynamic environment where attention to detail is key and teamwork is valued.
