Job Description:

This travel RN position in Winnemucca offers an opportunity to work within the OB- LDRP department on a 13-week contract. The role involves delivering care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, while also managing sick babies in the nursery and assisting with C-sections in the adjacent OR suite. The unit is equipped with 4 LDRPs, 2 postpartum beds, and modern monitors. You will be supporting approximately 200 births annually, with a focus on low-risk labor and antepartum testing. Experience in LDRP, ability to handle multiple roles including triage and nursery, and comfort caring for sick infants prior to transport are essential. The role features a team-based approach with flexible scheduling, ensuring patient safety and quality care. This assignment provides a unique chance to experience rural hospital life while honing your skills across multiple facets of OB and nursery care, all within a setting that values collaboration and adaptability.
