Job Description:

This travel contract offers an opportunity to work within a well-equipped Labor & Delivery unit in Fort Morgan, Colorado. The role involves managing pregnant women, newborns, and gynecological surgical patients during 12-hour night shifts. You'll be expected to triage patients, perform as a transition nurse or baby catcher, and support obstetric workflows according to AWHONN guidelines. The setting provides a unique chance to experience a rural hospital environment, with on-call OBs and in-house anesthesia, while focusing on maternal and neonatal care. The assignment emphasizes autonomous practice with opportunities to lead deliveries and assist with gynecological procedures, making it an engaging and rewarding experience for dedicated L&D nurses.
