Job Description:

Join our team as a NICU travel nurse in a level II children's hospital with a level IV NICU, where you'll be caring for critically ill infants in a 70-bed unit that typically maintains a census of around 50. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour night shifts, offering a unique opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with private rooms and access to advanced neonatal care tools. Your responsibilities will include respiratory support management, G-tube and NG/OG tube care, UAC/UVC management, PICC line care, medication administration, and creating individualized care plans. Flexibility may be needed for floating to the ER as a sitter, although this is rare. You will experience the dynamic setting of a combined pediatric and adult hospital with high-risk deliveries and a focus on neonatal stability, including cases like prematurity down to 22 weeks, RDS, NAS, and surgical or HIE patients. This role is perfect for a friendly, positive-spirited nurse with at least 2 years of Level III-IV NICU experience, certifications in BLS and NRP, and a valid Washington state license. Candidates new to travel are encouraged to apply, though previous experience is preferred.
