Job Description:

Join a healthcare team as a progressive care stepdown nurse in Waterloo, IA, where you'll be pivotal in caring for patients across Med Surg, Telemetry, and Post-Procedural areas. This contract offers the opportunity to float across multiple units based on census needs, providing a varied and engaging experience. Work 12-hour night shifts during a 13-week assignment, with a weekly gross pay of approximately $2,613.20. The role requires proficient handling of drips such as heparin, insulin, Lasix, amiodarone, diltizem, and digoxin, as well as confident interpretation of EKG/ECG rhythms. You'll participate in orientations starting on 06/29 and 07/13, with holiday work expected unless the unit is closed. This position is ideal for experienced nurses comfortable with rapid adaptation across units and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
