Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as an Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse in a fast-paced hematology and oncology unit. This role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with newly diagnosed acute leukemia, focusing heavily on blood products, IV antibiotics, and electrolyte management. The assignment features 12-hour night shifts, offering a mix of days and nights based on hospital needs, with the opportunity to self-schedule around your preferences. Expect to utilize your MS/Tele and telemetry skills, interpret dysrhythmias, and administer blood products and IV therapy in a setting that emphasizes infection control and patient safety. The first week includes classroom-style orientation, followed by on-unit training with a preceptor. This contract provides an engaging experience with a focus on hematology, chemotherapy, and high-acuity care without the pressure of long-term commitments.
